Echonote’s Expanding Expenses - 10 July 2007
To help provide more insight into the startups, I’ll be frequently posting financial updates on each of the startups.
When I introduced Echonote, I mentioned that the startup costs would probably reach close to $5000. To give you a better idea where exactly these expenses are going, I have uploaded a shot of echonote’s expenses to date.
Some key points to take note of:
- Total expenses to date exceed $2700
- Echonote has no cash inflow
- A $1495 site design completion payment is yet to come

Good luck on your startup. I wish I had known about your web page before yesterday. My two sons (in their 20’s) could have saved you quite a bit of money on your logo design and your site building costs. They wouldn’t have charged you as much as you spent. My oldest son is a graphic artist, he does freelance work and is also a custom tattooist, he has quite a clientele in the tattoo shop where he works. That might not seem like much of anything, but he does paining and drawing in his spare time and could have communicated with you until you were satisfied with a logo. Also, my youngest son designs web pages in addition to his PC tech work and has done web pages for some local businesses. I know you are on a shoestring budget and there’s no way you could have known about my sons nor any one of the thousands of people who do the same type of work online. But, nonetheless, good luck with your venture; I have your site bookmarked, will visit again. By the way, as re: my email address, I’m a writer, if you need writing for anything, I might be able to help you.
